Feline Advocate & Head of Boutique
Gabrielle is a certified Animal Health Technician at Animal 911 Veterinary Hospital. No one who knows her is surprised she built a career in animal health because she has been rescuing creatures big and small for as long as she can remember! As a child, she would scoop frogs out of swimming pools and knock on neighbors’ doors to let them know their cats wanted to come inside.
She graduated as an Animal Health Technician in 2012, became NAVTA certified, and completed her internship at Animal 911. She fell in love with the team, the patients, and the community, and she never left.
Gabrielle’s mission is to help pet parents feel informed and confident in their pets’ care. She believes that she and pet owners are teammates when it comes to their pet’s health and her role is to guide and support them in making the best choices for their animals.
She has a special interest in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation, inspired by her own dog who became a national freestyle frisbee champion as a senior despite having elbow dysplasia. She has also developed a love for training and behavior work, especially with misunderstood cats. In 2019, she and her rescue cat even appeared on TV to demonstrate that cats truly can be trained.
When she is not at the clinic, Gabrielle can usually be found mountain biking, skiing, or out adventuring with her pets. She has recently started a new chapter as a mom and is enjoying every second of the chaos and joy that comes with it.
